¡Felíz Día de Muertos!

Aunque somos estadounidenses y hablamos inglés principalmente, seguimos ciertas tradiciones mexicanas por nuestro padre.

I have taught Spanish to my children since birth by using traditions and music to provide context. This is also how we teach you English. We believe that by using rich examples, some humor, and dicussion of American culture in conversation, that it is relatively easy to acquire new vocabulary by our listeners.

One tradition that I have passed on to my children is Día de Muertos. I do not teach the tradition only in my home, however. I also am a Spanish teacher in a public school near Atlanta, Georgia. There, I dress one day a year as a CATRÍN.
