About our podcast of intermediate English
¡No Te Rindas! Intermediate English is a podcast for intermediate English learners and above who speak Spanish as their first language. It is not academic or "textbook" in its approach, but instead focuses on using natural, flowing English between two friends. About twice a month, Gabe and Greg publish a new episode dedicated to idiomatic expressions, stories about life in the USA, and how things work here like schooling, mortgages, and customer service.

Gabe and Greg believe that low-stress, high-impact learning can come from engaging content, thus the podcast uses gentle humor, warmth, and conversation to keep learners' attention. We provide some Spanish support during the show.

Our hosts are brothers! Both of them have a long history of getting to know Spanish speakers in many different areas of life. They are both accomplished writers and speakers of English. Read here how they are uniquely qualified to help the listener on their journey towards mastery of English.
Greg Sánchez - el hermano mayor, profesor de español
Greg is a veteran Spanish teacher in the metro Atlanta area (in Georgia, in the southern part of the US). His first language is English, but he has successfully reared his children to understand and speak both Spanish and English. He studied Spanish in Cuernavaca, México, and regularly travels to see family in the states of Tabasco and Chiapas. He also enjoys going to Spain and England when time permits. Greg is a proud Latino who thrives due to his roots in two cultures. He has started other small businesses and has worked in a variety of industries, including IT and insurance.
Gabe Sánchez - el hermano menor, especialista en servicio al cliente y "help desk"
Gabe works in the customer service industry, managing an English-speaking help desk team. In a previous career, he supported Mexican migrants while working for the US Department of Education. He also studied in Mexico while a teenager and has a master's in Language Education with an emphasis in Spanish.
